In celebration of Harlem Week, NYC life is the flagship station of NYC Media, the official network of the City of New York, featu;red NewsDoc Grad student, Yuanchen Liu’s documentary,
Special Dreams, that narrates the recent events surrounding the Harlem School of the Arts. The film follows two students studying piano at the school and the efforts of local parents to save the school after it was forced to temporarily shut down earlier this year.  Yanchen produced it as part of TV II under the supervision of Prof. Jason Samuels.  See it VOD http://nyc.gov/html/nycmg/nyctvod/html.
