April Fan’s ‘Dancing On Wheels’ Now Available on National Geographic

April Fan has been added to the Short Film Showcase at National Geographic with her second semester piece, Dancing on Wheels.

“Ever since she was eight years old, Kitty Lunn has dreamed of dancing. After performing with the Washington Ballet as a principal dancer, she was set to debut in her first Broadway show when a tragic accident ended her career. Lunn spent the next three years in acute care in the hospital and was left paralyzed from the waist down. Upon her recovery, she yearned to resume her life’s passion but was unable to find classes for disabled dancers. Teaching herself how to dance again in her wheelchair, Lunn eventually founded Infinity Dance Theater to help other disabled individuals learn the art of movement.”
