RECAP: Alumni Reunion 2017

On November 8th, NewsDoc Alumni returned to 20 Cooper Square to share some of their latest work and a little advice with current students. Department Head, Marcia Rock, moderated a panel with Michael Shade, video editor at Vice News;  Megan Thompson, producer and reporter for the PBS NewsHour Weekend; Mona El-Naggar, senior video journalist at the New York Times; and James West, senior digital editor for Mother Jones.

El- Naggar shared her recent New York Times documentary: ‘Ladies First’: Saudi Arabia’s Female Candidates.  Click the link below to watch the film.
