See What the Class of 2014 Has Been Up To!
We love hearing from our alumni and we’re so excited that the class of 2014 has given us their updates on their careers since graduating. Look for your classmates and friends below!
Yamiche Alcindor — reporter with The New York Times in Washington and political contributor with NBC News and MSNBC.
Brittany Knotts– Associate Producer at CBS Evening News.
Rialda Zukic– producer/editor at MTV News + working on my own feature film on the side.
Contessa Gayles—producer CNN
Richa Sanwal– I am a video journalist with Newsweek. Also, I’m working on an independent documentary on the side with my co-director.
Chiara Norbitz– Associate Producer at A&E Networks.
Ryan Porush– I’m in LA doing the freelance, independent doc thing. Have my first feature in post, and then another project in early stages of production.
Ali Withers– Video Director/Shooter/Producer at Bloomberg Businessweek
Robie Flores– I’m an independent filmmaker and am in production on a feature about the residents that live in and share the border towns of Eagle Pass, Texas and Piedras Negras, Coah. Mexico.
Tatyana Christikova– I work as a full-time freelance video journalist/documentary filmmaker — producing, directing, shooting and editing stories throughout Russia and post-Soviet territories for varied media like AJ+, Fusion, Sky News, NBC, ZINC, News Deeply, etc. In a couple of days, I’m going to West Siberia to film stories about indigenous people of the Tundra and their unique nomadic education system — will be posting updates on this journey on Facebook.
Xue Yu– Associate Producer at CNN.
Yalda Mostajeran– Producer/Editor at the New York Post
Xin Liu– I’m a documentary editor. The first film I edited and associate produced called Complicit, it was just screened at IFC and Lincoln Center. I am currently working on a hybrid documentary. It’s about China’s new craze for live-streaming. We were selected into the Sundance Editing Lab this summer, hopefully the story will be moved to the big screen soon.
Rongfei Guo– I am now one of the founders of a new video channel startup in China called Arrow Factory, producing short docs every week with my teammates. Keep filming and editing all the time.
Solomon Sorba Moriba — Currently Public Relations Manager, Marketing and Communications at The Salvation Army in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Texas. I’m responsible for producing multimedia content for advertising, branding and promotion. I also manage the publications and media relations. I have produced dozens of videos and adverts on Salvation Army programs and services in the last 16 months.
